Warehouse Support Specialist

The Warehouse Support Specialist plays a vital role in optimizing warehouse operations by assisting with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately receive and store goods in designated locations following FIFO best practices.
  • Efficiently pick and pack goods according to pick lists or sales orders, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Prepare goods for delivery, verifying proper labeling and packaging standards are met.
  • Assist with stock counting activities, cycle counts, and full stock takes, maintaining accurate records.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or expired products to the Warehouse Team Lead or Supervisor.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, stackers, and forklifts (if certified).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all warehouse safety regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift license is an advantage).
  • Basic understanding of warehouse systems and processes.
  • Able to handle manual handling tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
