Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our organization in Singapore. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and food safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cut, trim, debone, and prepare different types of meats (beef & lamb) according to specifications.
  • Ensure all meat products are stored, handled, and displayed in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Weigh, package, label, and price meat products for retail sale.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment.
  • Provide expert recommendations to customers on meat selection, storage, and cooking methods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering stock to ensure product availability.
  • Adhere to organizational policies, health, and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Assist in minimizing waste by utilizing proper cutting and portioning techniques.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Meat Cutter or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of meat quality, cuts, and preparation techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting (meat carcasses, equipment, etc.).
  • Certification in food hygiene and safety is an advantage.
