Financial Institution Manager Role

The role of a Financial Institution Manager involves overseeing and managing relationships with key financial institutions. This position plays a critical part in driving the growth and development of our business, by building strong connections with our partners and clients.

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to manage our FI customers and counterparties, including acquiring new access points and maintaining existing ones.
  • This includes overseeing correspondent banking activities such as Nostro and Vostro accounts, SWIFT relationship management applications, and correspondences.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for market FI products such as loans, account financing, FI deposits, and trade refinancing businesses.
  • They will also manage FI credit lines, liaise between HO, sister branches, and departments, prepare and review FI credit applications, perform customer due diligence measures when necessary, and conduct annual reviews of treasury bonds and other Credit Business.
Key Responsibilities
  • To possess a degree in Business or Banking from reputable universities
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in FI and corporate banking
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective leadership abilities
  • Independence and self-motivation
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese for communicating with Chinese clients and/or HO colleagues, preparing documents in Chinese
