You will be responsible for architecting and developing FPGA-based solutions to improve execution performance across various asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize FPGA-based systems for low-latency network and data processing tasks.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and researchers to integrate FPGA solutions into the wider trading infrastructure.
  • Conduct performance analysis and tuning of FPGA modules to meet stringent latency requirements.
  • Manage the full FPGA development lifecycle, including specification, coding, simulation, testing, and deployment.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to FPGA and hardware acceleration.

Requirements:

  • A strong academic background, preferably with a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing digital logic using Verilog or VHDL.
  • In-depth knowledge of FPGA devices, preferably Xilinx or Intel/Altera platforms.
  • Experience with high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, DDR) and FPGA development tools (Vivado, Quartus, etc.).
  • Understanding of low-latency systems and hardware/software co-design principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where high performance and reliability are critical.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
