Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intern – Valuation Analyst to join our team for a project-based duration of 8-10 weeks.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for valuing property, plant and equipment for insurance and finance purposes, supporting the analytics team, and developing valuation and operational systems to progress the business across new markets and sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analytics
    • Develop database models to determine the value of clients' fixed assets (Plant, Equipment, Buildings, etc.)
    • Develop new models to project valuation scenarios and reflect value drivers
    • Contribute to the continuous development and quality improvement of internal systems
  • Asset Valuation
    • Visit sites locally and internationally to survey and document all necessary details of clients' property, plant and equipment
    • Undertake cost analysis of assets using information provided by clients or during site inspections and industry research
    • Prepare valuation reports and appropriate appendices to be submitted to clients
  • General
    • Support other members of the valuation team when required
    • Keep updated on valuation standards, requirements and industry changes
    • Identify risk, follow and practice role responsibilities in compliance with company policies
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Pursuing University/Tertiary qualifications in computer science, data analytics, engineering or related field
  • Experience with the development of online databases would be an advantage
