Editorial Leadership Role in Asia-Pacific

We are seeking a seasoned editorial professional to lead our team of journalists and contributors in the Asia-Pacific region. As the APAC Editor, you will be responsible for developing and executing the regional editorial strategy, managing content production across digital, print, and event-related channels.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and leading the editorial strategy for APAC, aligned with global goals and local market needs.
  • Commissioning, editing, and writing high-quality articles, analysis, interviews, and special reports across digital platforms.
  • Maintaining editorial standards, style, and voice that are consistent and compelling.

In addition, you will:

  • Manage and mentor a small team of in-house and freelance journalists across APAC.
  • Oversee editorial planning, workflow, and deadlines to maintain publishing cadence and quality.
  • Foster a collaborative, inquisitive, and agile editorial culture.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Staying on top of industry developments, regulatory shifts, and market trends in finance, banking, capital markets, and fintech across Asia-Pacific.
  • Building and maintaining a network of senior industry contacts and contributors.
  • Representing the brand at events, roundtables, and interviews as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of editorial experience in B2B or financial media, with a track record of leadership or senior editorial responsibility.
  • Deep understanding of the financial services industry in APAC, including capital markets, private banking, fintech, and asset management.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex financial topics into accessible and engaging content.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
