Job Title: Chemical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemical Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine analyses in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Learns how to document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
  • Utilize laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks.
  • Attends and participates in project meetings.
  • Performs peer review of data.
  • Plans individual workload in coordination with team members.

Requirements:

  • At least Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, Science or equivalent.
  • Interacts with operational personnel, scientific personnel, and department management.
  • May work with potentially hazardous materials.
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work as required.

Working Conditions:

  • Work requires some standing and sitting for long periods of time, including working within a laboratory hood and standing at a bench top.
  • Use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
  • Will be exposed to potential food allergens.
