Job Title: Key Financial Operations Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and execute various financial tasks. This includes monthly closing activities, the issuance of sales tax invoices, journal entry preparation, and bank reconciliations.

Key duties also involve ensuring accurate postings of vendor invoices, sales invoices, payments, receipts, accruals, and other relevant month-end journals into the accounting system.

Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for preparing regular reports on project cash flows, debtors list, treasury reports, progress claims receivables report, and quarterly GST returns.

They will also assist with data migration for implementation of new accounting system and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements

  • A degree in Accountancy is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in full set accounting.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, especially with accounting double entries.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external parties.
  • Experience with Yardi accounting system is advantageous.
