Job Description

The role of the Sales Engineer is to drive the ZwickRoell sales process, achieving annual sales objectives in the designated territory with a primary focus on Singapore. The Senior/Sales engineer ensures sustainable mid to long-term growth by consulting existing customers and winning new ones in an international environment.

Key responsibilities include gathering insights into customers' needs, understanding their environment through visits, lead qualification, and opportunity development. The Sales Engineer will utilize the unique globally networked ZwickRoell Xperience Center to consult customers, apply CVPs, arrange pre-test, and interact with worldwide application & industry experts.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and understand insights into customers' needs and environment
  • Consult customers using the ZwickRoell Xperience Center
  • Perform sales administrative responsibilities
  • Actively drive lead finding activities
  • Manage and ensure high-quality data in accounts, contacts, opportunities, campaigns, forecasts
  • Permanently develop industry and application knowledge
  • Regularly gain market information
  • Build up successful business relationships
Required Skills and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required, with at least 3 – 5 years of experience in sales with premium capital equipment preferably in materials science. Open-minded, passionate, customer-oriented individuals who can work and contribute to a high-performance environment are ideal candidates.

Strong communication and presentation skills utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and digital tools are essential. Proficiency in English language is a must.
