Transforming Singtel's IT Infrastructure

At Singtel, we're committed to empowering every generation through innovative technology solutions. As the Director of IT Infrastructure, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming our IT endpoints to meet the evolving needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the transformation of Singtel's IT endpoints to enhance user experience and satisfaction
  • Develop and implement a long-term strategic roadmap for IT endpoint services and IoT devices
  • Collaborate with the IT Workplace services team to align strategy and planning with business requirements
  • Ensure the delivery of scalable, adaptable, and secure IT endpoint solutions that meet business needs
  • Manage risks associated with endpoint assets through appropriate standards and IT policies
  • Develop and implement policies, standards, and guidelines for IT endpoint selection, development, implementation, and use
  • Conduct training to build employee knowledge and skills in endpoint technologies and tools
  • Oversee the capacity, supportability, and lifecycle management of IT endpoint infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and standards and drive a strong security culture within the department
  • Partner with internal security functions to deliver safe and reliable services to business units and users
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a competitive IT environment, with at least 5 years at a management level
  • Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or Technology Engineering
  • High-level knowledge of industry-standard architectures in endpoint technology
  • Working knowledge of Office, AD, Exchange, VC, VDI, MDM, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a mixed workforce of internal and outsourced resources
  • Technical exposure to technology vendor management
  • Basic commercial background understanding of Total Cost of Ownership
  • Articulate and passionate about driving policy and process definitions and governance
  • Demonstrable background in designing and implementing EUT solutions on a large, enterprise scale
  • Experience in leading a technical work team
  • Excellent understanding of technology trends in the IT endpoint space
  • Ability to convey ideas at all levels, including less technical audiences
  • Solid knowledge of core operational principles such as separation of duties, capacity, performance, and information security
  • Ability to work effectively in both insourced and outsourced operational delivery models
  • Strong task, cost, and time management skills
  • Ability to lead a virtual team across organization boundaries
  • Collaborative style across technical teams
