Electrical Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to lead our team in the development of data centre projects. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a passion for sustainability, connectivity, and innovation to make a real impact in a fast-growing industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical engineering practices and developing data centres, reporting directly to the Chief Development and Engineering Officer. As a key member of our team, you will assist in standardising DC design and build across the region.

This role requires a strong people manager with experience in running various projects, overseeing multiple functions, and leading a team of engineering specialists. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert guidance on electrical engineering matters to work with stakeholders and consultants during concept design, detailed design, procurement, bidding, SAT, delivery, and installation on site.
  • Updating and maintaining internal design specifications, drawings, and standards in accordance with the latest configurations and including all 'lessons learned' in relation to all equipment.
  • Liaising with internal business units and external customers for technical requirements to translate into executable plans for implementation by consultants and/or contractors.
  • Evaluating the design, construction, and operation of mission-critical facilities and associated MEP components.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve design and implementation challenges.
  • Promoting engineering standards and consistency across regional projects.

This is a leadership role requiring excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. The ideal candidate should possess a positive working attitude, ability to work independently and as a team player, and willingness to travel to other Asia Pacific regions.

Requirements include:

  • Min. bachelor's degree in relevant studies such as Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 12 years of working experience and 5 years people management.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data centre related works involving DC development and engineering works.
  • Knowledge of large-scale mission critical facility's Mechanical infrastructure systems.
  • Experience with fast-track design/build projects and or multiple significant upgrade projects.
