Job Title: Quality Assurance and Quality Control Specialist
">">- This is a high-level position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the quality of construction projects meets industry standards.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in QA/QC engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years experience in the local construction industry.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to verify product quality meets design parameters and technical specifications.
- Supervise and manage visual inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures, including those carried out by third-party subcontractors.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when activities deviate from approved drawings and contract specifications.
- Monitor corrective actions and process improvement, as well as ensuring proper defect rectification of subcontractor workers across all trades.
- Cordinate with Qualified Persons (QPs) and consultants to resolve and close Non-Conformance notices.
- Prepare and submit Method Statements, Quality Records, Test Activities, Material Submissions, and Concrete Design Mixes for consultant approval.
- Update and submit monthly progress reports related to quality matters to authorities.
- Oversee corrective actions and monitor their implementation.
- Degree in QA/QC Engineering or Construction-related field.
- Minimum 5 years QA/QC experience in the local construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management principles and experience with implementing QMS.
- Proficiency in construction management software and QA/QC documentation tools.
- Experience in building construction works.
