About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Kindergarten Care Professional. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact in their lives.
This role involves working in a before and after school care setting for MOE Kindergarten going children, providing a safe and nurturing environment that fosters their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Work with K1 & K2 children (5 to 6 years old), engaging them in various activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills.
- Plan and implement modular activities that include art & craft, tinkering, cookery, music movement & dramatisation, gardening, and sand & water play.
- No academic teaching involved, focusing on developing the children's soft skills and character.
- Prepare activities and field visits (if any), ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for the children.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment, handling emergencies, and setting up a conducive space for the children to thrive.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of Student Care Centre (Early Years) Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE-T) or equivalent, obtained in the English medium.
- Required skills include classroom management, lesson preparation, activity planning, teamwork, and coordination.
- A patient and caring personality, with a passion for working with children.
