Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to administer and monitor structured and unstructured facilities of trade and commodity finance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in risk analysis, collateral evaluation, and contract review.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform independent transactional risk analysis, including performance risk, collateral evaluation, and contract review.
  • Participate in discussions with front office on client modus operandi and trade flow during credit review.
  • Client contact and liaison with operations to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
  • Manage supporting collaterals for structured inventory financing under CMA and follow up with payment instruments.
  • Liaise with internal departments and customers for cash collateral movement and monitoring transaction flow.
  • Monitor loan-to-value ratio and conduct margin calls when necessary.
  • Perform mark-to-market valuation and monitor cash collateral requirements.
  • Perform onsite visits to storage tanks or warehouses when necessary.
  • Keep abreast of market price movements and highlight any adverse market news to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with head office on middle office setup and model.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • University graduate in banking and finance, accounting, or related disciplines.
  • At least 10 years of middle office and/or back-office experience in international commodity banking.
  • Strong technical trade finance products knowledge, including UCP600, ISBP, ISP, URDG, URC, and URR.
  • Familiarity with collateral management systems.
