M&E Construction Professional

We are seeking a skilled M&E construction professional to oversee all aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee all M&E construction activities on-site, reporting directly to the project manager.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Independently manage day-to-day construction progress and ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Tech Specs: Interpret and work according to M&E drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
  • Site Coordination: Participate in project kick-off meetings, coordination meetings, and provide regular updates on site progress.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise the performance of site staff, workers, and subcontractors to ensure work quality and compliance.
  • Material Management: Manage the ordering, delivery, and control of materials, tools, and equipment for the site.
  • Drawing Discrepancies: Identify and resolve any discrepancies in drawings by consulting with project consultants before commencement of related works.
  • Schedule Planning: Plan, manage, and monitor all project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Construction Plans: Prepare and maintain essential construction plans, including site access, hoisting, temporary utilities, site offices, and storage areas.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures through both on-site and off-site inspections, and oversee all completion and pre-handover checks.
Requirements:
  • Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Diploma: Diploma in Civil / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
  • Familiarity with Relevant Codes & Standards: Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Drawing Skills: Proficient in reading technical drawings and using project planning tools.
  • Communication & Coordination Skills: Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Independent Working Ability: Able to work independently and in a team under tight schedules.
