Job Title: Operations Assistant - Marine Department

Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in marine operations? We are seeking an Operations Assistant to join our team. As an Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day activities of our marine department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering or a similar field, with at least 2 years of work experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining organized records, and coordinating logistics and scheduling for marine operations. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence, and handle travel arrangements and accommodations for marine personnel.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, diligent, and professional, with good drafting and verbal communication skills. You should also be proficient in Microsoft office applications, including Words and Excel.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the marine operations team
  • Maintain organized records and documentation related to marine activities
  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for marine operations
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence
  • Handle travel arrangements and accommodations for marine personnel
Requirements:
  • Diploma in marine engineering or similar field (maritime or engineering majors are preferred)
  • At least 2 years' work experience in oil trading industry and in similar role
  • Meticulous, diligent and professional
  • Good drafting and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications, including Words and Excel
