Financial Analysis Professional

This position involves overseeing financial data analysis and reporting to ensure accurate and timely delivery of key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and processing financial data to prepare monthly statements, including accrued expenses and prepaid accounts;
  • Preparing general ledger journal entries for assigned accounts, ensuring all activity is recorded, corrections are made and adjustments are calculated and posted;
  • Reviewing invoices concerning capital equipment expenditures and preparing a schedule for year-end reconciliation of fixed assets;
  • Analyzing investment funds' activities on a monthly basis reconciling bank statements of cash and assets to the general ledger;
  • Preparing analyses for assigned accounts, researching records and reports, identifying errors and submitting corrections with analysis and support to director involved;
  • Preparation of miscellaneous billing invoices including recording charges to the general ledger, assigning invoice numbers, and photocopying and sending out invoices;
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations;
  • Preparation of monthly closing package. This report involves detailed analysis of general ledger accounts;
  • Assistance to auditors by preparation of audit schedules during year-end audit.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills to gather, analyze and interpret financial information to prepare various statements and reports;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and preferably SAP and JDE;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A high level of mathematical skill to complete required analyses and reports and knowledge of general accounting principles normally acquired through completion of Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field;
  • Familiarity with SAP and JDE is an advantage.
