Job Summary:

Marina Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marina Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to yacht owners and crews with berthing and un-berthing operations.

  • Operate the Fuel Dock in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Transport guests within the marina using the Club buggy, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Maintain the Club buggy in good working condition to prevent any downtime or disruptions.
  • Ensure boats are properly moored and fendered at all times to prevent damage or accidents.
  • Assist with towing and handling lines using the marina workboat, exercising caution and control at all times.
  • Monitor berth occupancy, license validity, electricity, and water usage to optimize resource allocation and minimize waste.
  • Perform routine cleaning, repairs, and maintenance tasks to maintain the marina's high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Enforce Marina Rules and regulations among users, promoting a culture of respect and adherence to guidelines.
  • Process bookings, allocate berths, issue licenses, and manage payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Liaise with government officials, such as Police, Customs, and Immigration, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Issue keys, security passes, and monitor security patrols to maintain a secure environment for all users.
  • Update and maintain accurate records and diaries to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support boat handling, boatyard operations, and special events to provide a seamless experience for all customers.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid Class 3 Driving License to operate the Club buggy and other vehicles safely.
  • A minimum of Primary/Secondary School education or equivalent to demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding.
  • Prior experience in a related field is preferred but not mandatory, as on-the-job training will be provided.
