Servicing Mechanical Systems

Job Overview
As a key team member, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing mechanical systems in our data center environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems, including chillers, air handling units, and cooling towers.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting equipment, performing scheduled repairs, and updating documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues with mechanical systems and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with the facilities team to ensure seamless operations and meet client expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Qualified to Diploma/Degree Level in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years direct industry experience or a minimum of 8 years' experience at Mechanical Technician level in a critical environment combined with supervisory experience.
• Excellent understanding and experience of mechanical and control systems used in a data center environment, including fuel systems, building management systems, and controls.
• Strong technical knowledge of relay logic, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and their integration with data center infrastructure.
• Experience working within a project environment and dealing with design and construction engineering professionals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and contractors.
