Design Solutions Specialist
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Design Solutions Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing technical solutions for projects. You will be responsible for creating detailed drawings, quantities, materials lists, and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare designs, sketches, and reports with supporting calculations for projects.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, consultants, or commissioning engineers concerning the design, installation, or construction and commissioning of assigned work.
- Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods, and C&S shop drawings.
- Resolve any construction issues on drawings and liaise closely with relevant departments as well as the authorities, to ensure consistency with contractual technical specifications and statutory rules and regulations.
- Preparation of all necessary documents for approvals and permits for submission for any C&S works.
- Manage and follow up on any NCRs related to C&S activities.
- Reviewing of as-built drawings.
- Report on work progress during meetings.
- Attend site inspection as required.
- At least a degree in civil engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in design.
- Good knowledge of various engineering design software, such as AutoCAD and BIM.
- Candidates with strong relevant experience will be considered for senior positions.
