Biomedical Research Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Research Assistant to join our dynamic team in conducting cutting-edge research and development with a focus on rodent histology. As part of this role, you will provide key support services to researchers by operating specialized laboratory equipment and performing basic histopathology processing techniques.
About the RoleThe Department provides critical support for conducting biomedical research and development with a specific focus on rodent histology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing services in the laboratory to support the needs of researchers.
Responsibilities- Operate specialized laboratory equipment to provide histopathology service to the research community.
- Perform basic histopathology processing techniques such as paraffin/cryo embedding, cryotomy, microtomy, staining, etc.
- Assist with general logistics including equipment maintenance, inventory, housekeeping and any ad-hoc duties assigned.
- Diploma in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences or a related field.
- Good basic laboratory skills and manual dexterity.
- Familiarity with histopathology techniques and GLP would be an advantage.
- Meticulous and organized with ability to multitask.
- Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
This is a contract position for 2-3 months with a working hours of 8:30AM to 6:00PM (Mon-Fri). You will be based at One North/Buona Vista location.
