Senior Director, Global Communications and Public Affairs

Leads global communications and public affairs for the Asia Pacific region, partnering with regional and global leaders to advocate for interests.

About the Role

The Asia Pacific business landscape is fast-evolving, with intense regulatory challenges and opportunities. As a senior director, you will lead development and execution of external and internal communications strategies, building relationships and driving team performance through change.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develops and executes external and internal communications strategies to raise awareness and advance strategic priorities in APAC.
  • Partners with global and regional communications counterparts on products, issues, and audiences, advocating for APAC and amplifying HQ within the region.
  • Represents the Communications function to Google leaders, serving as a counselor and partner to APAC regional leaders.
  • Cultivates a positive culture that supports team members and fosters their development, leading a large team across APAC.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with international, national, and trade media covering Google, driving social media efforts.
