Data Governance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Governance professional to lead our data governance program. This role is responsible for defining and driving data governance across the organization, ensuring that data is managed securely, responsibly, and easily.

About the Role
  • This role requires close collaboration with senior-level executives, business data owners, and stewards to drive data governance at an enterprise level.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Define and Drive Data Governance Program: Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure effective management of data assets.
  2. Manage Stakeholder Communication and Progress Reporting: Coordinate communication and progress reporting to leadership and executives on data governance initiatives.
  3. Drive Transformation and Culture Change: Design clear procedures to facilitate adoption of data governance practices and drive culture change through understanding user behaviors.
  4. Coordinate Key Issues and Escalations: Manage and coordinate all key issues and escalations around data governance.
  5. Work with IT and Data Business Partners: Collaborate with IT and Data Business Partners to build their engagement and stewardship of data assets.
  6. Implement Data Governance Standards and Best Practices: Work with cybersecurity and technology operations teams to implement data governance standards and best practices.
  7. Leverage Deep Experience in Data Governance Solutions: Leverage deep experience in the implementation of data governance solutions in areas such as data quality, data lineage, data glossary, data security management, metadata management, and advanced data analysis solutions.
  8. Write Data Governance Policies and Oversee Adoption: Write data governance policies and oversee the adoption of data governance efforts.
