Job Description Summary

Alight Inc is currently considering your candidacy for a position within the Payroll & Professional Services business. As part of the divestiture process, this role will be aligned with the new Payroll & Professional Services owned by HIG Capital. Job Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation and implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning to our customers.
  • Develop solutions to complex problems/projects across multiple domains for clients.
  • Lead small to large client deliverables from start to finish across multiple, concurrent projects utilizing Alight's quality standards and consulting methodology.
  • Integrate with other areas across Alight and functions to provide a complete solution.
  • Consult on the impact of decisions to operating post-implementation and downstream systems.
  • Manage self and team member(s) work to project scope, timeline, risk, and budget.
  • Coordinate with others when applicable.
  • Listen to client requests, assess actual client needs, provide subject matter expertise, propose alternatives, and recommend solutions.
  • Frequently discuss and articulate to clients lessons learned from previous client experience, Workday best practices, and Alight's Point of View.
  • Manage client expectations.
  • Proactively identify trouble spots for clients and recommend solutions.
  • Significantly contribute to the development of internal resources via mentoring, coaching, and directing work.
  • Become an expert in the Workday product suite with a broad-based knowledge of human capital management or financial planning, while also being able to architect solutions within specific areas.
  • Participate in and may lead internal business initiatives to assist the organization in building our Alight brand and collateral.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and champion project methodology and Alight best practices.
  • Participate in building the Alight Brand by participating in Workday ecosystem product groups/chats and contribute advanced thinking and sharing of ideas within the ecosystem.
  • Develop working relationships with other members of the project team and management as well as external clients.
  • Use strong presentation, communication, listening, and consultative skills to guide and drive discussions.
  • Participate in client sales meetings, assisting with collateral creation where needed.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Experience deploying Workday or other SaaS software or EPM solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience of translating business requirements into system requirements.
  • Experience working in a functional EPM or planning role would be preferred.
  • Consultancy experience will be highly regarded.
  • Existing Workday certification will be highly regarded.
  • Advanced analytical and technical skills evidenced by experience playing a role in projects or in a business as usual role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Experience of confidently managing stakeholders.
  • A team-oriented approach, with a primary focus on 'we', not 'me'.
  • Self-awareness, with the ability to recognize personal skills, abilities, limitations, and strengths.
  • A natural tendency towards personal accountability and acting with integrity.
  • A demonstrated bias for action.
  • Able to self-manage confidently, with good personal productivity and self-motivation.
  • Relevant Workday certification, if not already held, must be attained and maintained to perform this role.
