Job Title: Culinary Strategist

">Roles & Responsibilities:

As a key member of our culinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative menu concepts that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

  • To assist in creating unique and engaging dining experiences by sourcing high-quality ingredients and developing menus that meet current market demands.
  • Source for fresh ingredients and cooking instruments required to create exceptional dishes.
  • Optimise usage of ingredients to minimize food wastage and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Develop cost-effective solutions to manage expenses and achieve business objectives.
  • Provide constructive feedback on menu items to elevate quality and ensure consistency with our brand standards.
  • Educate fellow kitchen staff on best practices, culinary techniques, and hygiene protocols to maintain high standards of food safety.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to develop effective recommendations for customers, including pairing options and special promotions.
  • Contribute to the overall ambience and layout of the restaurant to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in special events and create time-limited menu offerings to drive sales and increase customer engagement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., hospitality management, culinary arts).
  • Certification in basic food hygiene and workplace safety.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results.
