Maritime Operations Trainee Executive

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in maritime operations, working closely with our experienced team. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Maritime Studies or a related field and have excellent communication skills.

  • Liaise with vessels, agents, charterers, owners, shippers, and receivers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor daily vessel positions and schedules, providing timely information to stakeholders.
  • Assist the Chartering department by providing voyage-related data and insights.
  • Manage time charter operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Coordinate voyage operations, including stowage optimization, invoice issuance, and finalization of voyages.
  • Manage port calls, negotiate port disbursement accounts, and coordinate hold/hull cleaning procedures.
  • Check and approve bills of lading, commission invoices, FDA notifications, and bunker invoices.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in maritime operations, develop their skills, and contribute to the success of our organization. A passion for the maritime industry and a willingness to take on new challenges are essential.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with IMOS, CFM, and SEDNA is advantageous.
