Job Description

As a Senior Manager of Central Product Integration Engineering at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the global Micron network to drive High Performance Memory (HPM) Product yield, quality improvement, and new product introduction (NPI) through technical expertise, business process management, and project execution.

Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Drive for best-in-class (BIC) Yield ramping in collaboration with FAB teams.
  • Develop and track metrics regarding Fab Process Integration, Yield performance, tier quality, and conversion performance to ensure plans are in place to drive key factory metrics to industry-leading performance.
  • Create an environment that encourages innovation and technical leadership within the team.
  • Work with business partners to ensure best talent is mobilized to business-critical deliverables.
  • Progress skills roadmap from Micron in the fields of project management, business process development and management, and LEAN/Six sigma.
Tactical Leadership
  • Conduct ongoing metrics reviews of critical group deliverables to business to ensure achievement of committed performance.
  • Provide direct leadership on most critical group deliverables and escalated performance items to ensure barriers are removed and correct resources are applied.
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve operations project management and business process in alignment with QMS standards.
Performance Management
  • Ensure clear direction, performance goals, job profiles, and job expectations are established for all Team Members.
  • Provide a work environment that empowers employees to creatively improve their work environment, instills a sense of ownership in Micron, and supports a team effort.
  • Partner with Team Members on establishing aggressive but achievable goals.
Communication
  • Provide regular and structured communications to your team, including progress toward strategic objectives, Operations goals, priority projects, and company status.
  • Ensure structured communications with Team Members provide proper motivation and optimism toward achieving Process Integration Engineering vision and mission.
Training and Career Development
  • Ensure the group's training roadmap is maintained, focusing on developing pioneering skills and preventing isolated skills that risk business continuity.
  • Hold quarterly career development discussions with direct reports and ensure leaders do the same for Team Members.
Safety
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment and materials safety concerns.
  • Take a proactive approach to safety, applying corporate and site safety resources for partner concern issues as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry or equivalent experience.
  • For Senior Manager role, preferred candidates with at least 2 years of experience as Process Integration/Yield Enhancement managers.
  • For Manager role, preferred candidates with at least 5 years of experience as Process Integration/Yield Enhancement engineers.
  • The experience on HBM product or advanced packaging will be a plus to this job position.

Travel Required: Yes. Willing to travel as needed to support department goals.

Travel Frequency: 20-50%.
