The Energy Connections Office is tasked with facilitating the importation of low-carbon electricity into Singapore by 2035, equivalent to one-third of our energy demand then.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Branch Head to lead the Re-Imagining Future Power (RFP)-A team.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Nurturing and guiding the RFP-A team to deliver strategic outcomes for Singapore and EMA.
  • Leading negotiations with interested companies on their proposals, evaluating them to meet requirements for energy security, competitiveness, and sustainability.
  • Engaging overseas government bodies to facilitate imports.
  • Ensuring that electricity import projects are implemented on time.
">Requirements:">

Keen interest in energy transition issues and passion for the public service.

8 years of relevant experience in government relations, industry engagement, and/or the energy sector, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Comfortable with navigating ambiguity, challenging the status quo, and willing to speak up and put forward new solutions.

Excellent verbal communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills, prepared to deep-dive into relevant subject areas.

Prepared to travel overseas for work frequently.
