Retail Team Leader Job Description

As a Retail Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store. Your primary goal is to drive sales growth and exceed sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed store sales targets and KPIs by implementing effective sales strategies and managing team performance.
  • Lead the team in providing great customer service, closing sales, and achieving overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and execute plans for boosting sales, improving customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.
  • Analyze sales trends, provide feedback on team performance, and implement process improvements to optimize results.
  • Elevate best-selling products through strategic merchandising and visual displays.
  • Maintain a well-organized store environment, manage stock levels, and perform regular inventory checks.
  • Set up visually appealing displays and adhere to merchandising guidelines to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies on loss prevention and report any incidents promptly.
  • Process sales transactions efficiently and manage daily closing tasks to maintain accuracy and timeliness.
  • Serve as a role model for customer service and sales techniques, leading by example to inspire team members.
