As a senior AML/KYC compliance professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence across anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), and licensing matters within the cryptocurrency industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough customer due diligence on new and existing clients for cryptocurrency transactions, leveraging advanced analytical tools to identify potential risks.
  • Lead comprehensive onboarding reviews to ensure documentation and data comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of compliance and risk management.
  • Develop, implement, and enhance AML, KYC, and transaction monitoring policies and procedures tailored to the cryptocurrency industry and relevant regulatory requirements, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of compliance reviews, transaction monitoring investigations, licensing activities, and regulatory filings in accordance with relevant jurisdiction regulations, ensuring transparency and accountability.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in finance, law, or a related field, with 6-8 years of experience in AML or compliance within the financial industry, including some experience in the cryptocurrency sector. Strong expertise in AML, hands-on experience in transaction monitoring, and blockchain analytics tools are essential. The ability to analyze complex data, think critically, and communicate effectively is also required.
