System Integration Specialist

Position Summary:

You will play a crucial role in implementing and configuring our sophisticated financial software solutions. You will be the bridge between our technical products and client environments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This role requires a strong understanding of both financial systems and technical infrastructure.

• System Installation & Configuration: Lead and execute the technical installation and configuration of our risk management and portfolio management systems. This includes both on-premises deployments within client data centers and cloud-based installations on various platforms.
• Environmental Interaction: Configure and troubleshoot system interactions with client environments, including databases, networks, operating systems, and other third-party applications.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert technical support during the implementation phase and post-go-live, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to system performance, data integrity, and connectivity.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including installation guides, configuration manuals, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients' IT teams to understand their infrastructure, identify potential challenges, and ensure the smooth deployment of our solutions.
• Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with product development, project management, and sales teams to provide technical insights and ensure client requirements are met.
• Technical Training: Conduct technical training sessions for clients' IT staff on system administration and configuration.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Analyst, Implementation Consultant, or similar role in the financial services technology sector.
• Strong understanding of financial market concepts, especially in risk management and portfolio management.
• Demonstrable expertise in database technologies, including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of network configurations, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and system architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with message queuing services such as AWS Amazon MQ for RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python, for automation and in-house configuration.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
