We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Campus Development Senior Manager to join our team.

About Us

This is an IT support group at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). We champion inclusivity and bring education to all.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the project management of our new campus development, including fund management, procurement, feasibility study, design development, consultancy, and construction contracts management. They will also oversee the coordination with various stakeholders, including relevant ministries, users, contractors, consultants, and authority representatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overall project management, which encompasses fund management, procurement, feasibility study, design development, consultancy, and construction contracts management.
  • Review project management framework and processes on a regular basis for good governance.
  • Develop and ensure technical standards of the project and compliances with authority requirements.
  • Oversee feasibility study and design development of the project, including coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Manage procurement of consultancy and construction packages for implementation of the project.
  • Oversee and manage consultants and contractors in the delivery of their services for implementation of the project.
  • Plan, monitor, and update project programme and progress, including dashboard development and control for management reporting.
  • Meet financial objectives of the project by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget, monitoring expenditures and project cash flow, exercising cost controls, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised Degree in Building/Architecture/Engineering or relevant Degree from a recognised University with at least 10 years of relevant working experience as Project Manager preferably in public/developer organisations or consulting firms.
  • Relevant experience in the project management of large-scale development projects.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement framework and policies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive working attitude.
  • Good writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Meticulous and capable of working independently to resolve issues and challenges.
  • Strong time management and work well under pressure.
  • Good team player.
