Job Title: Laboratory Support Associate

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Laboratory Support Associate. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Procurement of laboratory equipment and materials to ensure efficient operations
  • Providing high-quality support to teachers and students to enhance their learning experience
  • Maintaining school safety and security protocols to create a secure environment
  • Handling student-related administration tasks with professionalism and efficiency
  • Performing other logistical and operational tasks as assigned by the School Leader/Key Personnel

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • A basic understanding of resources management policies and procedures to ensure effective use of resources
  • Flexibility with working hours depending on school needs to meet deadlines and commitments
  • Preferably completed Primary School Education or equivalent to demonstrate academic credibility
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in logistics or simple administrative duties to showcase relevant skills

  • Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment and facilities
  • Stock checking and inventory management to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Housekeeping and organization of laboratory spaces to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues, students, and parents
  • Inventory management and control to prevent loss and theft
  • Handwashing and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and healthy environment
  • Administration and secretarial skills to support teaching staff and students
  • Procurement and purchasing skills to source laboratory equipment and materials efficiently
  • Physical fitness and stamina to handle laboratory duties and responsibilities
  • Hardworking and dedicated attitude to deliver high-quality results and exceed expectations
  • Laboratory experience and knowledge to contribute to the development of the laboratory program
