Job Title: High Performance Data Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced data engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-performance systems and time-series databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance time-series databases and real-time analytics systems.
  • Collaborate with traders, quants, and software engineers to deliver scalable and reliable solutions for market data capture, strategy execution, and post-trade analysis.
  • Architect, design, develop, and implement KDB+/q solutions for real-time and historical market data processing.
  • Enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability across trading platforms.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a KDB+ Engineer in a trading or financial services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in q programming and time-series data modeling.
  • Deep understanding of market data (e.g., equities, FX, futures) and trading system architecture.
  • Experience with algorithmic trading platforms and strategy development.
  • Familiarity with low-latency systems, networking, and performance tuning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) is a plus.
  • Background in quantitative finance or data science is advantageous.
