We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced External Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. As an External Consultant, you will be working closely with our global SAP project team to deliver a high-impact finance transformation project.
The ideal candidate will have prior insurance accounting experience and be familiar with SAP or similar ERP systems. They should also possess strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the key liaison with the global SAP project team.
- Consolidate and refine documentation from various Finance Operations and Reporting teams across the region.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation across all workstreams.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and drive change management processes.
- Work closely with team leads to coordinate communications and ensure smooth adoption of new systems/processes.
- Attend and coordinate key meetings and calls across time zones.
- Schedule discussions with local finance teams as needed.
- Handle project-related ad hoc tasks.
- Oversee the work of one support staff member from an external service provider.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA qualification required.
- Prior insurance accounting experience.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and independent, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
