Job Title: Preschool Center Director

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our preschool center. As a Director, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and providing leadership in setting the school's overall goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Fulfill Regulatory Requirements: Collaborate closely with regulatory agencies to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Mentor Teachers: Provide guidance and support to teachers to promote a collaborative approach to learning and evaluation.
  • Develop Strategic Plans: Work with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans that align with curriculum objectives.
  • Manage Finances: Oversee the disbursement of funds for purchases and maintain accurate records of income and expenses.
  • Communicate Effectively: Prepare monthly financial reports for senior management and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Educational Qualifications: A minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (Leadership) from an accredited institution.
  • Certifications: Must possess EDCA (L2) certification or relevant qualifications.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in early childhood education, with experience in a supervisory or leadership role being an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with proficiency in both spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of Singapore's Early Childhood Landscape: Familiarity with the Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) framework, SPARK Accreditation, and other relevant guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and ECDA.
