About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling customer inquiries and requests, as well as coordinating with carriers, depots, trucking companies, insurance providers, and customs clearance agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Handle full set of import and export shipping documents such as BL, DO, Permit, and etc.">
  • Provide prompt responses and maintain close communication with vendors, customers, carriers, and overseas agents.">
  • Offer solutions to clients for shipment/space.">
  • Resolve routine and non-routine issues or complaints from customers.">
  • Sourcing and negotiation of rates.">
  • Billing and closing of job files.">
  • Accuracy checks on job files in the In-House Freight Management System.">
  • Maintain good relationships with Network Agent Partners and House Accounts.">
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.">

Requirements:

">

- Minimum 1-2 years working experience in Freight Forwarding.

">

- A general diploma in Freight Forwarding/Logistics is preferred. However, candidates without the above qualification but with multiple years of proven relevant track records will be considered too.

">

- IT Savvy.

">

- Working knowledge of Import and Export processes.

">

- Ability to keep up the pace and stay efficient at the same time.
