Job Description

At Temasek Trust, we are committed to delivering sustainable funding for the long-term well-being and security of our communities. As a Placemaking & Community Manager, you will play a key role in curating and driving a vibrant calendar of events and programmes that foster inclusive and thriving communities.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in programme/event management, community engagement, placemaking, and partnerships. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a robust calendar of public engagement events with social and environmental impact angles, as well as planning and executing the launch programmes of Temasek Shophouse.

Your duties will also include building up a community of impact makers through the TSH Collective Membership, and planning a series of programmes to support and catalyse their growth. You will work closely with precinct partners and stakeholders on placemaking efforts, activate and manage the use of both indoor and outdoor spaces at TSH, and coordinate and oversee volunteer management, including recruitment, training and engagement.

You will contribute to workplace community building and staff engagement, ensuring set budgets are adhered to and well managed. The successful candidate will also support the team at Temasek Trust and wider TT ecosystem with projects and events as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and delivering a robust calendar of public engagement events with social and environmental impact angles
  • Planning and executing the launch programmes of Temasek Shophouse
  • Building up a community of impact makers through the TSH Collective Membership
