Senior Scientist - Beverage and Sweet Focus

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in beverage technologies and flavour applications, with a strong understanding of market trends, regulations, customer requirements, and processes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with customers to develop innovative new concepts as well as renovating current products that meet their specific needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Increasing the level of complexity of projects with limited guidance from R&D leads.
  • Leading R&D contacts in key customers, building strong relationships and providing excellent service in terms of concept development, sample delivery, product presentations, and process support.
  • Collaborating within cross-functional teams to capitalize on specific customer opportunities.
  • Maintaining expertise in market trends, regulations, customer requirements, and processes.
  • Staying informed on the latest scientific advancements to enhance product innovation.
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation management.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in Food Science or an equivalent field; higher degrees are an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Expertise in Beverage Technologies and Flavour Applications.
