RMA Engineer Position

Job Overview:

The RMA engineer position involves the setup and testing of return merchandise authorization devices according to engineering instructions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and testing RMA devices in accordance with engineer's instructions.
  • Providing remote support for customers through phone, email, and online systems.
  • Maintaining test hardware, ordering, buying-off, debugging, and repairing devices.
  • Assembling new instruments on benches and relocating equipment as needed.
  • Coordinating and executing preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of test floor equipment and peripherals.

Required Skills:

  • At least 2 years' experience working with different automated test equipment (ATE) testers and peripherals, such as Advantest and Teradyne testers.
  • Familiarity with various system-level testing setups and semiconductor assembly processes, including mechanical test parameters and industry processes.
  • Candidates holding a professional certificate or Nitec in electrical/electronic engineering are preferred.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive industry or related products is highly desirable.
