Manufacturing and Automation Specialist

The role involves leading a team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a manufacturing environment.

  1. Leading a team of engineers and technicians to maintain and support manufacturing activities, ensuring real-time problem analysis and solution implementation.
  2. Collaborating with customers to set up new testers, launch new projects/lines, update technical references, and provide periodic reviews and training for the team.
  3. Managing existing lines, testers, equipment, and automation projects, including spare parts review and top-up maintenance to keep production running smoothly.
  4. Working closely with suppliers to secure quotes, training, and support.
  5. Supporting internal and customer audits, including 5S, process compliance, CCC, EHS, and ISO standards.
  6. Participating in Kaizen projects, new equipment introductions, and automation project implementations.
Key Requirements:
  • A degree or diploma in Automation, Computer, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Prior experience in PLC-related automation projects is highly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in top-level assembly manufacturing environments, preferably in EMS.
  • Diploma holders with more than 10 years of related experience may be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI/Python, and/or programming languages is a plus.
