Program Details:
  • Duration: 15 months
  • Location: Singapore (or specify site)
Function:As a Manufacturing Automation Specialist, you will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing systems, digital technologies, process automation, and operational excellence.

You will work on meaningful projects that impact our ability to deliver life-saving medicines. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Rotating across key areas of automation and digital manufacturing, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  2. Supporting system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing reliability and efficiency.
  3. Participating in digital transformation initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects.
  4. Gaining exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements, including GMP, data integrity, and audit readiness.
  5. Contributing to our culture of safety, quality, and innovation.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Early-career professionals with strong interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of automation systems and programming languages is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and contributing to healthcare.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry engineering.
  • Familiarity with Preventive Maintenance Procedures for process control systems.
  • Ability to monitor issues and develop preventative solutions.
  • Experience with manufacturing information systems.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
