We are seeking a highly motivated procurement professional to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of the procurement department, you will be responsible for implementing strategic procurement programs and enhancing procurement knowledge within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement programs to drive business growth and enhance organizational efficiency.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives across the business by negotiating favorable contracts with suppliers.
- Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with company goals.
- Execute procurement processes in alignment with company and industry standards.
- Ensure Divisional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) align with and comply with Group Procurement Policy and Procedures (GPPA).
- Identify and implement tailored procurement strategies to meet various business needs.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure new vendors are qualified according to GPPA and Division SOP requirements.
- Coordinate online vendor registration and maintain complete vendor profiles in the system.
- Assist in vendor audits and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and update the Approved Vendors List (AVL) to reflect current supplier agreements.
- Source new vendors to diversify and expand the supplier base.
- Process purchase orders in compliance with Group Procurement Policy and procedures.
- Manage purchase orders, open orders, and invoice submissions for approval to ensure timely payment to suppliers.
- Source competitive proposals to meet end-user requirements and negotiate favorable contracts.
- Support ad-hoc procurement requests as needed and participate in stock-taking activities.
- Administer contract management activities to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Prepare tender documents and coordinate tender briefings to communicate procurement opportunities to suppliers.
- Compile and evaluate tender submissions in line with Division SOP/GPPA and provide recommendations to the Tender Committee.
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
