International Trade Coordinator Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate shipping schedules, bookings, and document preparation for international cargo.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry for tracking shipments, processing orders, and providing quotes to clients.
  • Work closely with customs brokers to clear goods through customs, providing necessary documentation and information as required.
  • Monitor shipments from origin to final destination, communicating any delays and managing client expectations effectively.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions to enhance their experience.
  • Resolve issues arising during the shipping process in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and potential opportunities for new products and services.
  • Support other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Shipping/Logistics, preferably within freight forwarding, is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and negotiations diplomatically.
  • Basic understanding of international trade regulations, shipping laws, and documentation procedures.
  • Ability to problem-solve and provide prompt resolution to customer queries.
