About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager to lead our Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) initiatives, specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advancing our data science capabilities to drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop NLP and Generative AI projects to drive business outcomes and scalability.
  • Conduct applied research in NLP to identify and deploy advanced techniques that enhance our data science capabilities.
  • Pilot new projects that leverage AI/NLP to uncover insights from vast data sets, driving decisions and innovations that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Implement robust project management frameworks to oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of AI projects.
  • Foster a culture of continuous innovation by staying abreast of the latest trends in AI and NLP.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex AI concepts into understandable and actionable insights.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics).
  • Demonstrated ability in machine learning, NLP, and Generative AI, with a demonstrated ability to handle projects from inception to completion.
  • Proven expertise in applying deep learning and NLP techniques to solve complex problems, with a portfolio of projects that have delivered tangible business outcomes.
  • Good understanding of state-of-art ML and deep learning techniques, including transformers, BERT, auto-regressive language models, and other unsupervised learning techniques in NLP.
  • Experience with working with large language models, such as chatGPT, Llama, PaLM, Bard, Bloom, Vicuna, Mistral, etc.
  • Solid understanding of agile project management principles, with experience leading teams and handling projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
