Quality Assurance Analyst for Refrigerant Operations

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Refrigerant Quality Control Specialist to support our refrigerant reclamation operations.
This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and purity of reclaimed refrigerants, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Conduct analytical testing and quality control on incoming, reclaimed, and processed refrigerant samples.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure accurate sampling and address any quality-related concerns.
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as Gas Chromatographs (GC), halide detectors, and titration equipment used in refrigerant analysis.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and risk assessments to reflect current practices.
- Record test results accurately and ensure timely preparation and delivery of test certificates and reports to clients.
- Safely manage chemical storage, labeling, and disposal in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
- Monitor and manage laboratory inventory, including refrigerant standards, chemical reagents, and consumables.
- Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience, preferably in refrigerant, HVAC, or chemical analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) and titration methods is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of chemical safety, environmental compliance, and laboratory best practices.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
