Vascular Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Nursing Specialist to provide high-quality patient care in our hospital. As a Vascular Nursing Specialist, you will work closely with patients who have complex vascular wounds and conditions.

Job Description:
  • Provide support to clinical areas in managing complex vascular wounds
  • Provide clinical expert knowledge to patients
  • Support the patients and carers when diagnosed with vascular disease
  • Be accountable for assessment, planning, and delivery of all aspects of patient care with vascular disease
  • Provide supportive care to assist patients living with vascular disease, ensuring that care is personalized and the holistic needs of patients are met
  • Provide inpatient/outpatient/community hospital support to vascular patients
  • Provide education and training, clinical advice, and support to patients, relatives, and hospital staff
  • Act as a resource for management of patients with complex wounds in the clinical setting
Requirements:
  • Degree in Nursing or State Registered Nurse certificate
  • Relevant Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for candidates applying for this position
  • WOCP/WOCN certification is an added advantage
  • Minimum 5 years in clinical practice with 3 years in an inpatient setting
  • Experience in managing complex wounds is an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
