Vascular Surgery Specialist Role

At Worq Health, we are partnering with a respected client in the healthcare sector to find an exceptional Vascular Surgery specialist.

The Department of General Surgery is seeking an accomplished professional to join their multidisciplinary team as a Vascular Surgery expert. This role involves leading a team of nurses and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients suffering from vascular diseases. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of patient care, from diagnostic investigations to both endovascular and open surgical management, including specialized wound care and rehabilitation.

The Vascular Service covers the entire spectrum of vascular disease, including peripheral vascular disease, aortic disease, venous disease, carotid stenoses, vascular trauma, and renal access. The ideal candidate will also contribute to the Diabetic Foot Ulcer Multi-Disciplinary Team and utilize state-of-the-art facilities, such as a purpose-built hybrid operating theatre and a non-invasive Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory staffed by dedicated Vascular Technologists.

This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Vascular Surgery specialist to work in a dynamic environment with a strong focus on teamwork and communication. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing vascular problems in elective and emergency patients on a dedicated vascular on-call rota
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to patients
  • Leading a team of nurses and allied health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • MBBS or equivalent and a relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. FRCS, MMed) registrable with the Singapore Medical Council and Specialist Accreditation Board
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
