The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology invites applications for a senior researcher in chemistry development.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced researcher to take on a significant role in developing low valent main group compounds with unique electronic structures.

The appointed researcher will synthesize these compounds and investigate their reactivity.

The research staff will develop the fundamental chemistry of p-block elements-based compounds, in particular boron-containing molecules.

Detailed reports conveying experimental results and presenting findings to other scientists will be drafted.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD in Chemistry or related areas
  • Extensive knowledge about fundamental and advanced main group chemistry
  • Strong background and experience on main group and catalysis
  • Experimental and analytical skills and sufficient experience to handle air- and moisture-sensitive molecules
  • Publication history in the related field in top international journals
