About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with project management experience to lead the transformation of our data center network architecture from a traditional model to an innovative spine-and-leaf design.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and implement spine-and-leaf network architecture to enhance scalability, performance, and reliability.

Technical Expertise

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for all network-related aspects of the project.
  • Provide network architecture expertise, particularly in data center infrastructure, firewalls, and core switch technologies.
  • Coordinate with network engineers to ensure best practices are followed during installation, configuration, and testing.

Project Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end project management for data center migrations, firewall refresh, and core switch migrations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication strategies.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including network engineers, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring effective collaboration.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify potential project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network downtime or technical failures during project execution.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network architecture and project management, focusing on CISCO network devices.
  • CCNP/CCNA certification is required.
  • CCIE, PMP, or equivalent certifications is beneficial.
  • Expertise in spine-and-leaf network architecture and CISCO networking solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of firewall and load balancer technologies.
  • Experience in telco leased line optimization.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
